The prominent soils of this tract consist of the following:

1. Aycock (AyA) - Loam, 0-3% Slopes; (AyB) - Loam, 3-6% Slopes
This soil is well drained. Infiltration is medium, and surface runoff is slow. Permeability is moderately slow or moderate. The available water capacity is high. This soil is used mainly as crop land or as sites for residential development.

2. Muckalee (Mk) - Loam, frequently flooded
This soil is poorly drained. It is on the flood plains and is frequently flooded for brief periods. Infiltration is medium, and surface runoff is very slow. The seasonal high water table is 0.5 foot to 1.5 feet below the surface.
