The “Alec Gregg” Tract is located north of N. C. Hwy. 211 (east of Clarkton, N. C.) on S. R. # 1708 (Rosindale Road). Access to tract is from S. R. # 1777 (Old Tram Road) which is on the west side of Rosindale Road.

The prominent soils of this tract consist of the following:

1. Nahunta (Na) - Very Fine Sandy Loam
   
2. Grantham (Gr) - Very Fine Sandy Loam
   
3. Rains (Ra) - Fine Sandy Loam
   
4. Exum (ExA) - Very Fine Sandy Loam

These soils, with the exception of Exum, are poorly drained soils on broad, smooth upland flats. Permeability is moderately slow with the seasonal high water table at or near the surface from winter to early spring.
