In Charles's free time he enjoys “working”, deer and quail hunting with friends, sailing, and spending time at Holden Beach. Buddy has been married to the former Millie Stone of Lake Waccamaw for almost 41 years. They have one daughter, Mary Lacey Tate, who is a licensed real estate broker and has worked with him in all aspects of his business since 1998. She is a 1993 graduate of Campbell University with the degree of Bachelor of Science. Mary Lacey resides in Lake Waccamaw with her “four-legged” children. In her free time she enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, and hunting.
Donna C. Parker
Donna C. Parker is the office manager for Tate & Associates. Buddy has known Donna since she and Mary Lacey were in Girl Scouts. Donna has worked full-time with Tate & Associates since July 1994. The recipient of the 1994 Wall Street Journal Award, Donna is a 1994 graduate of Campbell University with the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration with a Trust Management Certificate Summa Cum Laude and Master of Business Administration With Distinction. She will assist you with various accounting and tax matters you may encounter, or be happy to work directly with your personal accountant or financial advisor. Donna resides in Lake Waccamaw with her husband, Lee. In her free time she enjoys cross-stitching, stamp collecting, “e-baying” (ha-ha), and spending time with her family.
M. Brant McClary
M. Brant McClary is Tate & Associates’ “right-hand” man. He offers a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field implementing our agricultural and forestry practices. Buddy has known Brant for more than fifteen years. He has worked with Tate & Associates since February 2002. He is a 1989 graduate of Southeastern Community College with the degree of Associate of Applied Science in Forest Management Technology. He farmed with his family business, McClary Farms, prior to joining our family in 2002. Brant has spent many tiresome hours integrating our Global Positioning System (GPS) Program into our daily forestry practices. This improving technology not only allows us to better service our clients, but has made our tasks more efficient. Brant resides in Evergreen, North Carolina with his wife, Charity, and their two children. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and just plain “tinkering” with anything mechanical.
